How-to clean Ugg boots the right way
By, Caitlyn Strasser, Reporter
1. Brush as much of the dirt off as possible with a stiff bristled brush. If the dirt isn’t properly brushed off, it will be washed into the leather.

2.Gently scrub the entire boot with a damp cloth. Caution: Use very little water or the boots will lose their shape and be ruined. For tougher stains, mix leather cleaner and water, following the directions on the bottle for an accurate measurement. Gently scrub any stained areas with the leather cleaner and a sponge.

3. Stuff the boots with crumpled up paper or anything else that can be used to keep the boot from falling over and wrinkling. This prevents the boots from sagging and losing their shape. Put the boots in a dry, cool place. Leave them to dry for 24-48 hours. Heat will cause the boots to warp and ruin the leather.
