BEBEE, ARK.–When 5,000 black birds fell out of the sky on New Year’s Eve, scientists and researchers came together to examine the birds but were left without an answer.
“It’s really scary and unreal. It would be better if they actually figured out the cause of it,” junior Katie Tolan said.
They ultimately came to the conclusion that they must have bumped into something or gotten struck by lighting but how do all the birds get struck by lighting or hit a wall, leading them to fall simultaneously?
There were no poisons, and their major organs were perfectly intact. More recently, there are reportedly 100,000 fish found dead not far from Bebee in Ozark, Ark. Due to the location of both events, the disaster may be more than a mere coincidence. Officials are waiting on conclusive scientific data that will either tie the two events together or prove that they are unrelated.
The birds have been described as having ‘severe hemorrhaging’ and there is no official explanation for the deaths.
