It’s that time of year again, where television shows pass all their Christmas specials, which has now seemed to become a tradition. This Christmas day, they will play all of their classics. This winter season, enjoy these good movies and warm up to the pleasure of everyone being at home.

These movies have been broadcasted on television for quite some time now, for ten to twelve years, allowing people to enjoy their Christmas evening sitting by the fire covered in blankets and watching a family movie in front of the TV.

The movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas (theatrical version) originally came out in 2000, and it began airing on TV in 2004. The animated version of the movie was filmed in 1966, and began to be shown on television three years after it came out. The movie is about a green hermit who is always mad for no apparent reason and comes up with a plan to steal Christmas and make every Who in Whoville feel hopeless of Santa ever coming to their village. Towards the end, the Grinch has an epiphany and tries saving the day before it’s too late.

The film Home Alone will also be shown that day, which is also another family gathering movie. Home Alone originally came out in 1990, and it was put into home televisions in the year 2000. The movie is about an eight-year-old boy being home alone and answers the door to bandits, who come and try to rob the house. In the process of robbing, the bandits and the boy create a mess because the boy is trying to get rid of them.

All of these movies are sure to bring back childhood memories to parents in your household. These films have been passed on through generations, allowing youngsters (and teens) become part of the tradition.

Christmas will finally feel complete, having the family together, watching old movies and laughing along at the jokes while drinking hot cocoa.
