Kaneland’s girls varsity basketball team is hosting Morris on Friday at 5:30 PM. This game will be a pink out.
The team will be decked out in pink-inspired uniforms for their first home game of the 2011-12 campaign.
“I’m excited for our first home game,” junior guard Brooke Harner said.
Junior guard Ashley Castellanos is looking forward to support from the Kaneland crowd.
“I’m excited to see all the people that come out,” Castellanos said.
Not only will their be a crowd in support of the team, proceeds from the game will be donated for breast cancer awarness.
This will be a special game for the Lady Knights, but it can be even more special with one addition: “Our first home game win,” said senior center Kelly Evers.
