Catastrophes urge “prepping”

By Lourinda Triplett, Editor

Doomsday Peppers: Bugged Out showcases the lives of ordinary citizens who are preparing for the end of the world, as they knew it.  In this reality show preppers have to use motivation, strategies,  their beliefs and put their minds to work to make sure they are prepared for the world to end. With the expert’s assessment in the Doomsday, they will find out their chances of survival if their fear becomes a reality.

Doomsday Peppers: Bugged Out gives audience a closer look into the lives of people who think the world’s end is right round the corner. Whether it’s a tornado, hurricane, volcano, the earth flipping on its axis or the world spinning upside-down these preppers will be ready to take it on.

The theories and ideas are amazing and indeed an eye catcher. This show keeps viewers watching even though some things were a little extreme. Doomsday Peppers: Bugged Out is a show that teaches and shows the importance of stockpiling food, bugging out to safe shelter, how to handle certain situations. The preppers in this show brings the situations to reality

Prep scoring is what’s important. The score is what really determines whether “the preppers” are ready or not. Season 1 made it confusing on the score that the preppers received at the end. From a scale of 0-100 the preppers are scored on how ready they are to survive and where their prep leadership stands. Are “the preppers” truly ready for the challenge? This makes for a very interesting show.  Anyone can enjoy watching this unique program.

Doomsday Peppers: Bugged Out airs new episodes every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.
