Ingredients

2 apples (peeled or unpeeled), cored and roughly chopped (I used gala apples)

½ cup chopped walnut pieces

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender, I used a nutribullet, and blend until smooth.

I enjoyed the apple cinnamon charoset even though it isn’t the most appetizing color. You can eat it as a dip or by itself. It was originally made for Passover and eaten with matzo crackers, but I dipped pretzels in it. There is a strong cinnamon flavor which paired nicely with the saltiness of the pretzels. If you aren’t a fan of nuts like me, but want the nutrients from the walnut this dip is perfect because you can’t really taste any of the walnuts.
