Sweeten Up Your Valentine’s Day

After an hour of hard work, the Devil’s food cake pops are frosted with Valentine’s Day colors and ready to be devoured.
Valentine’s Day Cake Pops
Want to make your love-bug something sweet this Valentine’s Day? You’ve looked at the right recipes. Follow these simple steps and whip up something sweet for your sweetheart.
Ingredients
- 1 box of Betty Crocker Devils Food cake mix
- 1 1/3 cups of water
- 1/2 oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 container of Betty Crocker whipped cream frosting
- 1 bag of white candy melts
- Sprinkles of your choice
Steps
- Heat oven to 350 degrees, follow directions on the cake mix box. Cool completely after baked.
- In a large bowl, crumble the cake with hands and add frosting. Mix well with your hands. Roll tablespoons of dough into firm balls and place on a large cookie sheet.
- In a microwaveable bowl heat up white candy melts.
- Remove cake pops from refrigerator and dip cake pops in white candy melts.
Chocolate Rice Crispy Treats
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons of butter
- 10 cups of mini marshmallows
- 6 cups of Rice Krispies
- 1 cup of dark chocolate candy melts
Steps
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat
- Once butter is melted, add 10 cups of mini marshmallows while stirring
- When marshmallows are melted, turn off heat and add in 6 cups of Rice Crispy cereal
- Pour mixture into a large pan
- In a bowl, heat up one bag of dark chocolate candy melts
- Cut Rice Crispy treats into squares and dip into chocolate
- Add sprinkles of your choice
