A Club for Everyone: Sci-Fi and Anime
February 24, 2017
If you ever felt like having a fun time and chilling after school, Sci-Fi and Anime club is the one for you. Sci-Fi and Anime club meet every Thursday right after school in the library and ends at 4:30 P.M. The club supervisor is Jennifer Lupa and costs $60 to join.
The name of club does not do the club justice. Sci-FI is just a broad way to say they mess with computers and play games, and it’s not just about Anime. They do a wide variety of things.
“Usually we just relax, play games and have music play over the speakers,” club member, James Leyden said.
It’s really a time for people to chill and enjoy each other’s company. They do other activities and events as well.
“We do weekly Kahoots with prizes and sometimes we go to the movies,” club member, Josh Childress said.
The club is full of fun and joyful members who would welcome anyone in.
They have the library at their fingertips to use for basically anything they want to do. The club has plenty of members and not at all a small club. The club consists of around 30 members each meeting. They use all of the space in the library for their activities, like video games, card games and anything they feel like doing for that day. It truly is a club for anyone who wants to relax and have a fun time while doing it.
