The Muppets

The Muppets (TV series) is scheduled to premiere September 22, 2015 on the ABC network.  This  will be the first season aired.

There will be the same characters as the original muppet shows, however it is not like the usual kid’s show.  The muppets’ adventures on and off the set during the making of ‘Up Late with Piggy’, a fake late night talk show starring Miss Piggy, will be followed throughout the episodes, filmed using a reality show structure.

 

Chicago PD

Chicago P.D, a predecessor of “Chicago Fire,” is now the second most viewed NBC show. CPD involves a small group of officers who deal with major crimes including murders and drug trafficking within the Chicago area. Sergeant Hank Voight loves to bend rules to solve cases. The show brings intense emotion as the team deals with their dramatic lives outside of work. Chicago P.D  premiered on January 8th, 2014 and is starting it’s third season September 30.

Black-ish

Season 2 of the show Black-ish will be premiering on ABC. The show is a sitcom that follows a father, Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson, his wife, and their four kids. They live in a predominantly white neighborhood and Dre begins to think that this has an effect on them. He attempts to help his children and family find a new sense of identity with their ethnic background. The first episode will air on September 23, at 8:30 central.

Limitless

A new TV show is premiering on CBS this fall called Limitless, based on a movie from 2011. The show is about Brian Finch, a man who under the effects of a new drug called NZT, can use his brain to a higher capacity. The FBI hires him to help them with new cases that would be too difficult for the average agent to solve. With this, he can do whatever it takes to catch suspects. The pilot will be airing on Tuesday, September 22 at 9 central.

Dancing with the Stars

This fall Dancing with the Stars will begin its 21st season . It will begin airing September 14 at 7:00 pm on ABC. It pairs up professional dancers with celebrities. Every week the couples learn a new dance. They perform it on live television and get judges’ scores. One couple is eliminated based judges’ scores and viewers’ votes. The stars range from small town vine stars, actors, and Paula Deen.

How To Get Away With Murder

How to get away with murder is a show on ABC in its second season premiering on September 24. This show is about a woman who teaches a class called “how to get away with murder”. The teacher is also a defense attorney who selects a few of her students to work alongside her employees. While on the job mysteries appear and dark truths are revealed.

Criminal Minds

Criminal Minds, season 11, premieres starting on September 30, 2015 on CBS. This show is about profilers who use their expertise to help catch mastermind criminals before they strike again. They investigate and collect details, and evidence so they can be the mind of the criminal to be one step ahead of their game.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres September 28 on Comedy Central. Going on its 21 season, The Daily Show provides both current news with a satirical edge and interviews. Trevor Noah, the first stand-up comedian from South Africa to appear on a late night show will now be hosting The Daily Show. Noah said, “It’s an honor to follow Jon Stewart. He and the team at The Daily Show have created an incredible show whose impact is felt all over the world.”

Modern Family

On Wednesday, September 23, the show Modern Family will premier again at 9/8c, according to ABC’s website.  This will be its seventh season on ABC’s network. Modern Family is a comedy show that shows different types of families, including a gay couple with an adopted daughter, a straight couple with three children, and a multicultural straight couple with two children.  Within the show, you follow the families through their drama and lives.
