Most teachers have that one book that they could read over and over again, a book that never fails to make them smile. Gym teacher John Mansour’s favorite novels to read are part of the well-known Series of Unfortunate Events books by Lemony Snicket.

“I like the books because of the way they were written, the story, the plot and how there was one thing right after another,” said Mansour.

According to Mansour, he came across the first book in this series when he was lounging around in a library as a kid. The cover looked interesting, so Mansour decided to read it.

After reading the first novel, Mansour admits to loving it so much that he continued to read the series. He stopped reading them somewhere around the fifth book.

Mansour doesnt recommend this book to older students, but he highly recommends these novels to childern and teens in lower grade levels because the lower reading level.
