The Chicago Cubs have been battling the Cleveland Indians in the 2016 World Series. The teams are tied 3-3. Kaneland’s been going crazy with Chicago pride.

Junior Kathy Mendoza, a Cubs fan, is excited for the Cubs, but believes they won’t win the whole thing. “I actually think they’re not going to win. Their past record isn’t good enough,” Mendoza said.

Mendoza also believes in the curse of the Wrigley goat.

“Yes, there’s conspiracy about it,” Mendoza said.

Freshman Parker LaSalle doesn’t believe in the curse. “I don’t, they (Cubs) just suck,” LaSalle said.

Math teacher Kenneth Dentino is a huge Cubs fan. “1-10 I am a 72 is how big of a cubs fan I am,” Dentino said.

Dentino went to all three World Series games over the Halloween weekend. “I’ve been a season ticket holder for three years,” Dentino said.

Even when they lost Dentino had a good time. “Even when they lost it was on of the best experiences of my life,” Dentino said.

Dentino also believes they will win the series. “My heart believes it,” Dentino said.
