What is Christmas dinner without warm green bean casserole? Christmas is a time that the family gets together and has a feast on all the different traditional foods that are served this time of the year. A green bean casserole is just one of those traditional holiday recipes.

Ingredients:

  • Two cans of “ Green Giant ” french style green beans
  •  One can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • One can of french fired onions.

Baking supplies:

  • 1½ quart casserole dish or a glass baking dish
  •  Spoon
  •  Oven mittens

Procedure:

Step 1: Turn your oven to 350℉(make sure you have nothing in your oven before you turn it on).

Step 2: Drain the two cans of green beans and pour them in either the glass baking dish or the casserole dish.

Step 3: Pour the one can of condensed cream of mushroom soup and the ¼ cup of milk in the dish with the green beans.

Step 4:  Take your spoon and gently stire all the ingredients together (be careful not to stir too much because you will smash the green beans).

Step 5: Put the dish in the oven. The casserole should be baked for about 20 to 25 minutes

Step 6:  Put the French fried onions on top of the casserole about five minutes before it is done or when it is starting to bubble.

Step 7: When the casserole is done take it out, be careful use oven mitts because the dish will be very hot, also make sure you put it on a hard surface that it won’t burn.

Step 8: Turn off your oven and let the casserole sit for about five to ten minutes to cool off.

Step 9: After the casserole has sat, it will be ready to serve and enjoy.
