Eggcellent spring sweet course

This bright and colorful treat will serve as the perfect addition to any spring festivity.

Ingredients:

  • 2 rolls Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
  • 1 bottle sugar sprinkles of the color(s) of your choice
  • 1 container green frosting
  • assorted jelly beans or M&Ms
  • Twizzlers Pull n’ Peel

Steps:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spray miniature muffin cup tray with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Pour each color of sugar sprinkles into their own small bowls.
  4. Cut cookie dough roll into ¼-½ inch slices (Note: will expand in oven).
  5. Roll the slices into balls, then roll the balls in a bowl of sugar sprinkles so that the outside is evenly covered.
  6. Place each ball into a muffin cup.
  7. Press the center top-side of each ball with your thumb or a melon baller to form a hole.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or, until edges are golden brown.
  9. Take them out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Add frosting to fill the hole of each cookie.
  11. Decorate with M&Ms or jelly beans(optional).
  12. Bend a 5-inch Twizzler peel and place in basket to form handle.
