Fabulous fall treat: pumpkin squares

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 eggs
- 1 (15-ounce) can 100% pure pumpkin (not pie filling)
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray
- Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. Set aside for later use
- Beat together eggs, pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Slowly add the dry mixture from step 3 to the wet mixture from step 4; beat well.
- Pour the combined batters into pan and spread evenly within the pan
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick can be inserted into the center and come out clean.
- Cut after it has cooled completely.
- Add toppings, such as whipped cream, candy corn, or sprinkle of cinnamon as desired before serving
