The 2014-2015 freshman class president is Jeremy Todd. He nominated himself for the job and there were no other candidates so he was appointed to being class president.

A class president is a student who is supposed to be a leader of the class. They are part of the student council and attend the meetings every Thursday to help make decisions like decorating the halls for the homecoming spirit week and other things like that.

“I get to be in charge and make sure things run smoothly,” Todd said.

Todd really enjoys being class president and being able to make decisions on behalf of his peers. He decided to become class president because he wanted to get more involved in the school and show his school spirit and leadership.

When asked what it’s like being class president, Todd said he likes it but sometimes people treat him differently other times it doesn’t affect him at all.

Todd doesn’t do a lot outside of school but keeps busy in his free time. He is a very artistic person and enjoys anything that has to do with drawing or graphics.

“I enjoy designing pictures and doing graphics. Also just doing any kind of artwork. As well as playing video games in my spare time,” Todd said.

Most of his favorite video games revolve around anything that has to do with building things.

When asked to describe himself Todd was very straight forward in saying he is smart and helpful; two characteristics that make a good class president.
