Settler’s Ridge Bridge
Settler’s Ridge is a suburban neighborhood located in Sugar Grove. Although small in size, it is a very convenient place to go take pictures for Homecoming. The neighborhoods bridges, colorful flowers and wildlife have the ability to make homecoming pictures look lively.
Riverwalk
Downtown Naperville is a common place for people to gather before formal events. There are many places to eat such as Japanese restaurant Moshi Moshi, Riverwalk Pizza, and Naf Naf Grill. The riverwalk is a popular place to take pictures because the sidewalks closely hugs along the side of the river. Also, the wooden bridge that crosses it looks out at the water, making for a wonderful place to take photos.
Japanese Garden
The authentic Japanese Garden located in Aurora is a close-by unique place to take Homecoming pictures. The garden was designed in 1910 by Taro Otsuka and has been an attraction for people ever since. The garden features an assortment of ponds, waterfalls, bridges and colorful floral arrangements. An appointment is needed to be arranged prior to weekend photo ops.
Old Barn
The old barn located in Sugar Grove off Bliss and Main St. is a very different and vintage atmosphere. The barn is abandoned and looks aged, but also creates a country feel for pictures.
Bliss Woods
Although Bliss Woods is generally a common place for bikers and people looking to take a morning stroll, it is also great for taking pictures. The paths are lined with tall trees and plants that are beginning to change colors as autumn arrived. The forest adds a nature-feel and vibrant appearance to a Homecoming picture. The woods are located in Sugar Grove.
