Anne Geiger is Kaneland’s foreign exchange student from Germany. She is a senior that came from a high school in Bad Bergzabern,Germany. She wanted to do an exchange in the United States and KHS was randomly selected.

When asked how she likes it, “I really like it, it’s different from Germany. The people are really nice,” said Geiger.

At her old school not everyone had their own individual locker. Nor did she eat lunch at school, and instead of having the same classes everyday she would have 12 different classes a week.

Some of Geiger’s hobbies include singing and playing the alto saxophone. Geiger plans on visiting Chicago and Disney world in her stay in the USA.
