For as long as she can remember, Alexis Logan has had quite the interest in fashion. From being a little girl playing dress up, to the fashionista she is today, fashion has made a huge impact on her life.
“Ever since I was younger, I dreamed of modeling and I always wanted clothes and to look good,” Logan said.
Logan’s iconic style has been influenced by many different factors.
“Different time eras inspire my fashion, as well as my dreams of modelling,” Logan said. “Those dreams influenced my sense of style and helped me grow.”
She has made her mark on kaneland by creating a club for the student body. “Fashion club” is perfect for any students who share Lexi’s love for fashion.
“My inspiration for fashion club was first to open an opportunity for others who view fashion importantly but also to help me grow myself into a future career in the field.” Logan said
Junior Berrie Lipp calls her “The queen of fashion club.”
Logan’s dream resides far from this little mid west town, and lingers on the west coast. California is well known for it’s contribution to the fashion industry, and that’s where Logan wants to leave her mark.
“I want to go to a fashion based college in California,” Logan said. “I want to go big, whether that be in design or modeling. Maybe even both!”
She recognizes that her dreams may seem out of reach, but she’s not going to let that stop her. She’s driven by determination and faith in her abilities.
“I have high standards for myself, but I’m willing to risk it all to reach my goals,” said Logan. “I’m not going to let anything get in my way.”
