Who doesn’t like the taste of raw cookie dough? Skip the risk of getting salmonella and try this recipe for delicious cookie dough dip. After a few simple steps using affordable ingredients, this mouth-watering treat can be made in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 stick of butter
  • ¾ cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup of mini chocolate chips
  • “Scooby Snack” graham crackers

Baking supplies:

  • Electric mixer
  • Basic cooking measuring instrument tools (tablespoon, teaspoon and cups measurers)
  • Refrigerator

Steps:

  1. To start off, take the block of cream cheese and stick of butter and let them sit out on separate plates to soften. Let them sit while getting out the rest of the cooking supplies, or for approximately ten minutes. Allowing the cream cheese and butter to soften will make the two ingredients easier to mix for the dough.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, butter and brown sugar together until ingredients appear to be completely mixed.
  3. Add powdered sugar and continue to beat the mixture.
  4. Once there are no powder chunks to be seen in the dip, stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  5. Serve immediately, or store in a refrigerator until served. Enjoy with “Scooby Snack”graham crackers or animal crackers instead of regular graham crackers, because regular ones are too thin for the cookie dough dip’s thick consistency.
