Ally VanBogaert is not only the Senior Class President, but she also participates in many clubs and extracurricular activities such as Spanish Club, Student Council and the girls varsity basketball team.

The role of class president entails several responsibilities that many are unaware of.

For example, senior Brandon Park admitted he was not sure what the class president had to do.

Students like Park may not know the class president is a powerful position.

“I know just about everyone in my class,” Vanbogaert said.

Vanbogaert is popular among her fellow classmates and thought that she would be a perfect fit for the position of class president.

“I’m in charge of planning the senior cruise,” Vanbogaert said.

Other responsibilities as the class president includes: determining the Senior class service project, creating class t-shirts and writing the welcome speech on graduation day.
