Demi Schlehofer graduated from Kaneland in 2012. Originally from Sugar Grove, she now attends Columbia College Chicago for art and design.

Aside from being in the National Technical Honors Society, Schlehofer works for a greeting card company as an office assistant and graphic illustrator. She also works on freelance projects and utilizes other mediums.

Currently, Schlehofer has a gallery exhibition at Columbia College. Her work uses many different mediums in order to convey her message.

The exhibition is called “Nature Morte De La Femme” and showcases the difficulty many people have for expressing their emotions. She also focuses on women’s oppression in our society. Particularly on how they are shaped by it, physically and emotionally.

The art exhibition takes place at the C33 gallery in Columbia University and runs from April 7 until April 22.
