Why he was chosen: Tyler Paulson was chosen due to his overwhelmingly successful first high school track career; one of his biggest achievements so far has been his seventh place finish in the 4×4 at the Illinois Top Times Indoor Championship.

What are you looking forward to most about outdoor season?

“I love the fact that I get to be with my new teammates.”

What expectations do you have for yourself?

“I’m not too sure because, this is my first year since 8th grade so, I will do my best.”

Who influenced your decision to return to track?

“Coach Baron did for sure, and then so did my teammates.”

How do you picture the end of the season to look like for you? 

“I see us holding a trophy down state, ending up being champions.”
