Kaneland Knights: cross country

What happened last season: The cross country team did very well. They finished 13th in state and had one of the best seasons KHS has ever seen.

“We ran one of the fastest combined times in the history of the school,” Coach Andrew Franklin said.

Key Player:  Ryan Bower will be a key runner this year.

“He is really looking good in practice,” Franklin said. In a three mile meet on Sept. 3 at Elburn Woods, Bower placed third with a time of 17 minutes and 21 seconds

Coach Franklin’s expectations: Franklin hopes to get a full squad down state this year. He also wants to do the best that they can in conference this season.
