Chess Club won most of their matches against the other teams at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) state tournament. Ending up 41 out of 146 teams at the 2015 State Chess Competition.

Most of the chess team feels the same way about how their results at the state competition.

According to the club’s supervisor, KeitDentino, members would agree that they were hoping to do better although they will accept their ranking out of the entire state.

“I probably could’ve done better [in my match], but I’m happy with how it went,” Faulkner said.

The team all seemed to agree that while they did not do as well as some may have hoped, they are still satisfied with the final ranking.
