Lucky Treats to Make for St. Patrick’s Day

These festive shamrock desserts are great treats for this St. Patrick’s day. Follow these quick steps and your friends and family will devour them at your St Patrick’s day gathering.
Shamrock pretzel pops
You will need:
- 1 bag of mini pretzels
- 1 bag green candy melts
- Confetti sprinkles
- ¼ teaspoon shortening
- Lollipop sticks
- Wax paper
Steps:
- Melt green candy melts according to package instructions, you can add ¼ teaspoon shortening to make them melt easier.
- Dip mini pretzels into the melted candy melts and place on wax paper.
- Arrange pretzels into shamrocks shapes, place stick in the middle and drizzle with more of the melted candy melts to seal.
- Decorate with sprinkles.
Shamrock bark
You will need:
- 1 bag green candy melts
- 24oz white chocolate
- 1 cup green m&m’s
- Shamrock sprinkles
- Wax paper
- Toothpick
- 2 Bowls
Steps:
- Melt white chocolate and green candy melts according to package instructions in separate bowls.
- On wax paper, pour out melted green candy melts and spread out. It should be about ⅛ inches thick.
- Pour white chocolate on top of green chocolate and use a toothpick to swirl the colors together.
- Top with m&m’s and sprinkles and break into smaller pieces once cooled.
