A: I’m struggling because I’m a student who lives out of district.

A: Eric Delgado

A: 16

A: Sophomore
Q: What is the first thing you thought about this morning?
A: Whether or not I was going to be late.

Q: What’s your favorite book/movie?
A: The Tale of Despereaux – Book
Silver linings Playbook – Movie

Q: Why did it speak to you so much?
A:Book – The Tale of Despereaux has a deeper meaning that shows that no matter what type of person you are the only thing that matters is your heart.
Movie – The Silver Linings Playbook is an emotional movie that shows how people recover from traumatic events that they then overcome by facing their fear. It’s very inspirational.

Q: What’s an ideal weekend for you?
A:I hate being at home. So like it would be going out for dinner with my friends one day, bowling another, and seeing a movie the last. And end each day with a good night sleep while watching TV.

Q: Are you confrontational?
A: Yes, very. I say what’s on my mind constantly and some people don’t like that but I’ll stay standing up for my opinion no matter what they say.

Q: What are you most thankful for?
A: My beautiful, loving family.

Q: What’s the one thing most people misunderstand about you?
A: My sexuality. They think because I have a high pitch voice or what I wear indicates I’m gay. Which I am not, I am heterosexual. It really annoys me how people think they can “see” or “hear” gay because you can’t!

Q: What’s your idea of a perfect vacation?
A: All my brothers, parents, and grandparents all going to Mexico and visiting our home town

Q: When have you felt your biggest adrenaline rush?
A: Completing my first escape room

Q: Would you do it again?
A: Yes, I’ve done it plenty of times since then!

Q: If a you had 3 wishes what would you wish for?
A: Wealth for me and my family, to stay humble, and become successful

Q: What’s your life’s philosophy?
A: You got it, ball out

Q: Do you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert?
A: Extrovert

Q: What was the best “phase” in your life
A: Right now is probably the beginning to the next best part of my life.

Q: What makes you feel accomplished
A: When I pull the plastic thing off of phone screens. Also, my family and their “motivational” lectures.

Q: What’s your biggest regret in life?
A: Not trying my best in school.

Q: What do you think about when by yourself?

A: Sometimes I think about how things are going on different parts of Earth and how I’m a speckle of stardust in this cosmic black hole we call Life.

Q: What does happiness mean to you?
A:It means to be content with how things are going in life whether or not they are perfect as long as they are how you like it.

Q: What are some things that give you peace of mind?
A:Knowing there are people out there in the world trying to better our planet Earth.

Q: What makes it so hard for us to break away from things/people we care about?
A: It’s hard because we have social media. It takes one scroll to see something you didn’t want to. Since it’s extremely easy to communicate that makes it hard not to

Q: What are some things you are scared of losing?
A: My sense of mind, my morals, opinions, and my friends & family.

Q: Where do you think you will be 10 years from now?
A: Hopefully graduating Medical school and entering my first years of residency as a doctor

Q: Do you think you need to be able to see in order to create art?
A: No. Art is not directed by the eyes but by the heart.

Q: Why did people start believing in God, and whose God should we believe in?
A: I think we should all have something to believe in whether or not it is god. I just think that believing in someone or thing can make life less stressful for everyone.

Q: Do you think the human race is always getting smarter?
A: I think that we are evolving to our surroundings and that if we dont keep developing to our surroundings then we will begin to lose the our intelligence

Q: Why don’t we have a global language?
A: People are comfortable with their native language and would rather be comfortable with what they have instead of changing it for the better

Q: Can you have religious faith without believing in God?
A: Yes, because religion is based on morality. You don’t need some fake person or thing to symbolize to help learn your morals

Q: Do we have souls?
A: Yes. I think that humans have souls because we are the only animal to have sympathy and compassion. That soul holds all of it together

Q: What happens when we die?
A: I wish I knew the answer but until I find out we can only hope for something good

Q: What is insanity?
A: A constant belief in illogical thought with a lack of mental capability

Q: What is reality?
A: Reality is the state of consciousness that you can interact and do things on real time

Q: As a child/ back in your younger days, what experiences were the most memorable?
A: I don’t remember much but probably the last time i remember seeing my Uncle danny

Q: Who is your idol, why do you admire that person?

A: My idol is my family because they teach me everything I know from how to act, all the way to, how to knit.
