Kaneland High School earth science students experienced what a real volcano was like on Oct. 29, when they watched a volcano made from liquid nitrogen and water explode outside the school.

Kaneland finished second as a team in the Oct. 13 Future Farmers of America horticulture competition.

Senior Tyler Howland was working on a project in the library on Oct. 6 when, suddenly, the ceiling began to collapse.
