Lovin’ Lolla

Every year since 1991, Lollapalooza has been a place where musicians come together and perform for thousands of people within a weekend.  Last year there was an estimated 400,000 people who attended Lollapalooza.  Lolla is taking place on August 3 through August 6 in Grant Park in Chicago. This year some of the top performers include Lorde, Wiz Khalifa and Chance The Rapper headlining Saturday.

Unfortunately, the general admission tickets sold out within a couple of hours, but if you want the full experience, there are VIP and platinum tickets still available. One full day filled of music and friends consists of $120 and four day tickets are $335. VIP tickets range from $650 for one day to $2,200 for all four days.

The a few other big musicians performing are The Killers, Big Sean and Lil Yatchy. All together there are a total of 182 artists that create an amazing experience for the people attending.

While spending your time listening to great music, you can also enjoy the food Lolla has to offer. The term ‘chow town’ is an exact representation of what it is: hundreds of restaurants in the Chicagoland area bring what they have to show to all the guest attending the festival.

If you are looking into getting some fresh air and to rest your ears, there are plenty of things available to you. Walking a little less than a quarter of a mile away there are many little shops set up around the festival grounds. Most of the shops sell art but you can also find anything from souvenirs to outdoor gear. Lolla is a time where you will create new memories that will never be forgotten.
